Classroom Management
Classroom management is an essential part of teaching. The community of learners built by the teacher hinges on the way he or she manages a classroom. I firmly believe that rules should be enforced and there should be a "zero-tolerance" policy for rule breaking. Consistency is extremely important and I intend to follow through with all rules I set forth, in addition to rules set forth by the school system and/or school. Students must know that consequences follow actions, and they must be held accountable for each and every single action in which they participate. Enforcing responsibility is an integral piece of creating a learning environment in which students can become mature, independent, and successful thinkers.
